Stimulator of vegetal growth effect of Bacillus sp strains in interaction of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) culture.
Main Article Content
Abstract
The genus Bacillus is broadly known due the great diversity of compounds that takes place, makes possible its employment in multiple fields. In the case of agriculture, their potentiality has been taken advantage for stimulate of growth of the plants through direct and indirect mechanisms. The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the effect of the application of different strains on the stimulation of the growth and the control of pathogenic fungus that affect to tomato culture (Solanum lycopersicum L.) cv. ´INIFAT-28´. The mains results demonstrated that the twelve strains used promote the germination. It highlights the B-17 strains for the stimulator effect, because it impacts in the increment of physiologic indicator of growth in stage of the small plants. As for the control of the pathogenic on the seeds “in vivo”, differences exist in their behavior. The strains B-3 and B-17 were not achieving the control of none of the three pathogens. The strains B-15; B-25; B-26; B-28 and B-31 reduced in 89% the infection caused Alternaria alternata and they caused the non-appearance of the first symptoms of the illness. On the other hand, B-28 and B-31 diminished in 97 % the infection of the Cladosporium oxysporum and four of the strains (B-51; B-61; B-15 and B-31) they reduced in 90 % the incidence of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp lycopersici, These results indicate the metabolic potential that they possess these strains that makes possible their future exploitation for the formulations of new bioproduct stimulators of the vegetable growth, directed to the benefit of the cultivations of agricultural interest in different productive systems.
