Web-based digital system for product management in agricultural markets of Villa Clara and Sancti Spíritus

Abstract
La insuficiente informatización y la limitada articulación entre los actores del sistema de comercialización agropecuaria en los mercados de Villa Clara y Sancti Spíritus restringen el acceso de la población a información actualizada y confiable sobre la oferta de productos, afectando la toma de decisiones de compra y la transparencia del proceso comercial. El objetivo de la investigación fue diseñar e implementar un sistema de información basado en tecnologías web que facilitara la gestión y el acceso público a datos relevantes del comercio agropecuario local. Para ello, se realizó un levantamiento de la información en mercados y entidades comercializadoras, identificando variables como disponibilidad de productos, precios, ubicación, características nutricionales y condiciones de comercialización. A partir de estos datos se desarrolló un portal web accesible desde navegadores convencionales en dispositivos móviles y de escritorio, con mecanismos de actualización periódica de la información gestionados por los actores autorizados. Los resultados evidenciaron que el sistema permitió centralizar la información proveniente de múltiples puntos de venta, reducir la dispersión informativa y facilitar la comparación de precios y disponibilidad por parte de los consumidores, contribuyendo a una mayor transparencia en el proceso de comercialización. La plataforma fue validada mediante pruebas funcionales, de rendimiento, seguridad y aceptación por usuarios vinculados al proyecto “Fortalecimiento de políticas para la seguridad alimentaria sostenible en Cuba” (POSAS), confirmándose su estabilidad y utilidad práctica. Se concluye que la solución propuesta constituye una herramienta viable para apoyar la transformación digital del comercio agropecuario y mejorar el acceso a la información en los territorios estudiados.
